2 Multi-Day Hospital Stays so Far!

Annabelle was hospitalized for pneumonia in the beginning of February 09 and just today (March 11) she was released after a six-day stay for RSV and bronchiolitis. You can find out more about RSV on the CDC's website: http://www.cdc.gov/RSV/. In short, it is a virus that is no worse than a cold in adults and older kids (mostly), but can really cause trouble for little babies because it encourages the production of a lot of mucus.
Generally a very happy baby, Annabelle was sad to be so sick. The first few days in the hospital, she cried and slept the whole time. But she was back to her disposition in not time, charming all the nurses and therapists. Here are some pics from the time we spent there this week.
